CORPORATE ACQUISITION - ACCOUNT MANAGER - Telecom operator in Doha, Qatar

We are looking for “CORPORATE ACQUISITION - ACCOUNT MANAGER” for a fulltime opening with our client’s office in Doha, Qatar. Client is leading GSM Telecom Operator.

DEPARTMENT: Enterprise

REPORTS TO: Corporate Sales Manager

ROLE PURPOSE: - Delivery of profitable sales of the company’s services within the Corporate market.

Key Accountabilities

Sales of the company’s services to Corporate businesses in Qatar

Ø Identify short, medium and long term prospect list.

Ø Sell the company’s solutions, products and services into new Enterprise corporate customers from the prospect list.

Ø Develop account plans to establish forecasts and anticipated revenue streams within 1 month of customer acquisition.

Ø Provide solutions from the company’s product range that fit the client's requirements.

Develop profitable relationships with corporate businesses in Qatar

Ø Close deals that are profitable and high value to the company in Qatar.

Ø Achieve annual target as set by Sales Manager.

Ø Ensure that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behaviour is aligned to the Company's values.

Work within governance processes to ensure the best customer experience

Ø Provide accurate forecasts of revenue and volume to Sales Manager.

Ø Supply accurate and timely information when submitting new orders, to ensure correct client provisioning.

Ø Always attend first / initial customer meetings at their regular office premises to qualify the opportunity and for risk assessment purposes (fraudulent trading, etc).

Ø Effective customer liaison during provisioning process up to hand over to Account Management team.

Ø Update colleagues/Corporate Sales Manager regularly as to progress against prospect list.

Develop internal relationships that enable the deliver of the sales strategy

Ø Act as a corporate customer advocate to influence proposition development and the customer experience processes.

Ø Provide feedback on market trends/competitor activity relevant to the company's sales and marketing management.

Ø Collaborate with SME sales team, dealers and retail sales team to ensure alignment of the sales activity across the Enterprise segment.

Ø Create networks with key influencers internally.

Ø Develop relationships with peers & work to ensure cross functional sales opportunities are identified, shared & followed through

Ø Acquisition and retention of corporate customers

Ø Thorough understanding of balance between investment and return in key customer relationships.

Ø Weekly Forecast reports sent to Sales Manager.

Ø Achieve new connections targets as set by the business.

Ø Develop high performing and well informed Virtual teams that are customer and sales focused on business plan delivery.

Ø Establish broader Industry relationships with Mobility Solutions, convergence and strategic relationship ‘experts’, both internal and external to ensure delivery of robust sales plan.

Essential role related knowledge, technical skills, qualifications and experience

Ø Culturally sensitive.

Ø Target orientated.

Ø Inspire and influence external and internal relationships at all levels.

Ø Fluent, natural English essential, fluent Arabic is also a big need.

Ø B2B sales experience, preferably in a telecoms environment.

Ø Proven experience of new business sales preferably in Telecoms/IT environment.

Ø Proven ability to deliver results.

Ø Cold calling and new business development experience.
